Tabex tablets are an over-the-counter drug that is used to quit smoking.
It contains the active substance cytisine, which acts on the smoker’s body in a similar way to nicotine.
Taking Tabex leads to a gradual cessation of smoking without the discomfort and discomfort associated with quitting cigarettes.
Tabex is used in people who want to quit smoking (chronic nicotineism).
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
Treatment is carried out according to the following scheme:
Days 1 – 3 – 1 tablet 6 times a day (every 2 hours). These days, a gradual decrease in the number of cigarettes smoked is expected. If the result is unsatisfactory
Treatment is stopped and can be repeated after 2-3 months. With a satisfactory effect (significantly reduced number of cigarettes smoked)
after the 3rd day, treatment is continued according to the scheme;
days 4-12 – 1 tablet every 2.5 hours (5 tablets per day);
13-16 days – 1 tablet every 3 hours (4 tablets per day);
17 – 20 days – 1 tablet every 5 hours (3 tablets per day);
Days 21–25 – 1–2 tablets per day.
The final cessation of smoking should occur on the 5th day after the start of treatment.
After completing the treatment course, the patient must show willpower and not allow himself a single cigarette.
Contraindications

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not take Tabex.
