Strepsils Honey and Lemon tablets are recommended for the treatment and relief of symptoms of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (stomatitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis). It belongs to a group of medicines called antiseptics.

The effect of the drug appears in the first 5 minutes and lasts up to 2 hours after taking the drug.
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
Adults and children over 6 years old – one tablet is dissolved slowly over 2-3 hours.
The tablets are left in the mouth until completely dissolved.
Do not chew or swallow whole. They are taken between meals.
As with other similar medications, the tablets should be repositioned in the mouth until they dissolve to avoid the risk of local irritation.
To avoid the risk of choking, Strepsils Honey and Lemon should only be administered to children who can hold the lozenge in their mouth unattended while it slowly dissolves.
Treatment should not continue for more than 5 days, as this may lead to an imbalance of the oral microbial flora and the risk of bacterial or fungal infection.
