Petzoldt’s Magic-Clean Professional Cleaning Clay

• This cleaning clay, which has been developed for the automotive industry, gently and effortlessly removes all normal surface deposits without attacking the layer of paint. Even the gloss remains when this gentle paint cleaner is used, and the use of old, aggressive paint cleaners can be avoided.

For after you have washed the vehicle and then want to polish or preserve the surface, or just want to have a smooth finish.
Just do a test: Take thin cellophane film or similar. and wrap this around or place between your index and middle finger tips without creases. This will allow you to feel even the finest deposits. You will be amazed to find them everywhere, despite the thorough car wash.

– Clean / wash the surfaces.
– Knead the cleaning putty to the size of the palm of your hand.
– Spray a lubricant that we have recommended for your (see images), onto the surface to be cleaned, then simply slide the cleaning clay over the surface without pressure.
– Periodically look at the cleaning side of the clay. As soon as dirt particles are visible, simply fold the palm shaped clay in the middle once and press it out to the size of your palm once again. Thus, the dissolved dirt particles are optimally integrated.
– Repeat this process until all impurities are noticeably removed.
– Simply remove the remaining lubricant with a soft damp microfibre cloth, and if necessary, with a clean and dry microfibre cloth.
– If necessary, you can then polish the paint and / or e.g. protect it using wax, high-gloss paint sealant, coating or paint protection film, then you’re done.
