A roasted, salted version of our cashew nuts, which is suitable as an alternative to classic potato chips for family celebrations.
Cashews are an excellent source of protein. They grow on trees called the western kidney bean, which can grow up to 12 m tall. The nut itself is suspended in a hard shell on a fleshy part called the cashew apple. Getting the seed out of this fruit is very difficult.
Cashew nuts are great on their own, but also as an ingredient in various desserts and other sweet and savory dishes, or they can be used to make delicious cashew cream.
