Indication.
Treatment of postoperative and traumatic wounds complicated by purulent infection; wounds that slowly granulate and do not heal for a long time; boils; carbuncles; fistula forms of osteomyelitis; burns; trophic ulcers with suppuration.

Method of application and dosage.
Ektericide® can be used topically in undiluted form as a monotherapy or in combination with other drugs.
Treatment of infected wounds should be carried out by washing them with Ektericide® followed by applying gauze napkins moistened with the drug. Washing should be done 2 times a day until the purulent discharge disappears, after which washing and dressings should be done once every 3-4 days until the wounds are completely healed.
When treating infected burns with an open method, use Ektericide® with novocaine: add 10 ml of 0.5% novocaine solution to 50 ml of the drug. Irrigate the wound surface every 6-8 hours. With the closed method, 2 times a day with an interval of 6-8 hours, apply bandages well moistened with the drug to the burn surface. Irrigate the bottom layer of the bandage with Ektericide® without removing it. These manipulations should be carried out until the pus completely disappears.
In case of osteomyelitis after sequestrotomy (sequestrectomy), the wound should be tamponed loosely with gauze napkins well moistened with Ektericide®. Bandage wounds every 3-4 days.
Treatment of carbuncles and furuncles after their dissection and evacuation of purulent masses is carried out by applying gauze napkins well moistened with the drug to the wound. The first
Bandaging should be done daily for 2-3 days, and then once every 2-3 days.
