Indication
Degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints and spine: primary and secondary osteoarthritis, shoulder-scapular periarthritis, osteochondrosis of the spine, fractures (to accelerate the formation of bone calluses).
Contraindication
Increased individual sensitivity to any of the components of the drug, thrombophlebitis, diabetes, severe kidney/liver dysfunction, phenylketonuria, bleeding tendency, stomach or intestinal ulcer. Do not use the drug if you are allergic to shellfish.
Special security measures
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Use with caution in patients with increased sensitivity (allergy) to seafood. At the beginning of treatment, it is advisable for people with diabetes to monitor their blood sugar levels.
Use with caution in patients with moderate and mild renal and hepatic insufficiency.
Patients with asthma should use the drug with caution, as such patients may be more prone to the development of allergic reactions to glucosamine with a possible exacerbation of the symptoms of their disease.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy. During treatment with the drug, breastfeeding should be stopped.
The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
If dizziness or drowsiness, fatigue, visual disturbances occur during treatment with the drug, you should refrain from driving a vehicle or working with other mechanisms.
Method of application and dosage
Chondroitin Complex is prescribed to adults internally for 1 capsule 3 times a day during the first 3 weeks; then 1 capsule 2 times a day for the next 2-3 months. The course of treatment is usually repeated with an interval of 3 months.
Children
The drug is not used for children.
Overdose
Cases of overdose have not been described. Side effects may increase. In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment is recommended.

Adverse reactions
From the gastrointestinal tract: dyspepsia, epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, diarrhea, constipation.
From the nervous system and sense organs: dizziness, general weakness, drowsiness, headache, insomnia, increased fatigue, visual impairment.
From the side of the immune system: in isolated cases – allergic reactions, including hyperemia and rashes on the skin, itching, urticaria, erythema, dermatitis, eczema, edema, angioedema.
From the side of the skin and its structures: hair loss.
