Pharmacological properties.

Effectively moisturizes the mucous membrane of the nose, thins thick mucus, softens dry crusts in the nose and facilitates their easy removal.

The highly purified stabilized 0.65% solution of sodium chloride corresponds as much as possible to the natural nasal secretion. The buffer substances included in Aquamax bring the pH of the solution closer to the pH of the natural secretory fluid of the nasal mucosa and maintain this indicator at a constant level.

Aquamax improves the perception of smells and the transport function of the ciliated epithelium, promotes the restoration of nasal breathing, shortens the rehabilitation period, and allows you to reduce the dose and frequency of use of local vasoconstrictors.

Clinical characteristics.

Indication. It is used for babies, children and adults:

· for hygienic care of the nasal cavity, prevention and comprehensive treatment of diseases of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses, accompanied by dryness of the nasal mucosa or mucus formation (atrophic, allergic, infectious, medicinal rhinitis);

· as an auxiliary tool when using local vasoconstrictors;

· to eliminate dryness of the nasal mucosa caused by the operation of air conditioners, including car air conditioners, or central heating radiators, during air flights;

· after surgical interventions in the nasal cavity and sinuses.

Contraindication. Increased individual sensitivity to the drug.

Features of application. To avoid the spread of infection, individual use of the nebulizer is recommended.
