Our tea masters chose Chun Mee tea to create this blend. Chun Mee translates to “precious eyebrows” in Czech, a reference to the wavy appearance of the carefully rolled dried leaves. Chun Mee originates from the Yellow Mountains of eastern China, an area known for its small tea bushes and minimal processing of the leaves. The tea has a delicate, nutty flavor with sweet notes of toasted grass. At Ahmad Tea, we believe that a quality tea can speak for itself, and this exquisite blend has a lot to say. This is a premium, 100% natural tea made from leaves with nothing added or removed. Naturally high in antioxidants and other nutrients, this tea is a great drink.
Preparation
To prepare this green tea, we recommend using hot water at a temperature of around 80 to 85 °C. This preserves the natural taste of the tea without accentuating its bitterness. Simply pour the water into a cup or teapot and let it stand for two to three minutes before adding the tea; or use an electric kettle with a temperature setting.
The correct result of steeping is a clear, golden-green drink, with a distinct aroma of grass dried in the summer sun. It is a pleasantly delicious tea, great for inducing peace and balance. It can be drunk without milk throughout the day, whenever you feel like something cleansing or invigorating. You can even serve it as an iced tea for a light refreshment on sunny summer days. Simply steep a bag or more bags, depending on the quantity, in water (with a little sugar to taste), then dilute with cold water. Add ice and a slice of lemon to enhance its fresh taste.
