Acetizal Cardio tablets are a medicine that is recommended to prevent the formation of blood clots (thrombi) after certain types of heart surgery, in order to widen or unblock blood vessels. It is also used to reduce the risk of blood clots and thereby prevent strokes, heart attacks and cardiovascular problems in patients suffering from stable or unstable angina (a type of chest pain).
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
Prevengril for heart attack: 75–150 mg once daily.
Stroke prevention: 75–300 mg once daily.
Contraindications
Read the instructions for the medicine carefully!
Do not take this medicine if:
you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients;
you have or have ever had problems with your stomach or small intestine;
Do you have high blood pressure.
Cardiopyrine should not be given to children under 16 years of age unless recommended by a doctor.
